ABOUT LESSON LEARNED
"I got my first real six string. I bought it at the five and dime. I played it until my fingers".....whatever.

Lesson Learned got it's start after a grueling battle of heartache, headaches, and hangovers. Timmer was playing in a punk rock band called "Ever Since My Accident" for about three years when internal struggles got the best of it. After playing in several other bands before that, he was ready to hang it up. That's when he met the "Italian Stallion", American bread skinny ass white boy, Gregg Payne. Timmer thought, "This guy really brings back the ROCK!"

Soon after they met, Gregg kept insisting that they start playing together just to see where it goes. Timmer graciously kept declining. Even though Timmer kept declining, Gregg kept asking. Finally it hit Timmer and he couldn't take it anymore. He decided to start playing his old school Fender guitar while Gregg strummed his Fender bass. Quickly the two meshed well. Each of them complementing and accenting one another's playing. Not long after, Timmer and Gregg started writing new music. While the two were writing new music, they searched for a drummer to flatter their melody. Timmer knew of a few drummers and decided to see if Ryan would be interested. After a short discussion, Ryan decided it would be a perfect fit for himself.

During the first practice ever, the band fell tightly together. Quicker than any other time playing in a band. Then and there each band member knew the band would fit each of them like a glove, perfectly! Each of the guys discussed what the band name would be. Timmer spoke about a lot of life experiences and decided that "Lesson Learned" would represent his past and would be a prefect fit for the band's name. From that point forward, the band had now officially been born.

Not long after the formation of the band, it was decided that the band add some depth to their music. Timmer, Gregg, and Ryan were looking to add a lead guitar player who would be able to add to the rocking sound. After auditioning several guitar players, the band found Randy. After the first practice with the band, they knew Randy was the man! Randy quickly fell into his role and brings a much needed sound to the group.

As the band continues to grow, they will write more music and play shows throughout the Fox River valley as well as other places throughout the midwest.
